“2-1-1 Connections” serves the communities of Northwest, Louisiana, by assisting individuals, families, elderly, disabled, and those who are struggling to live independently, facing a crisis they need help to overcome.  With over 275 categories of needs met each year in service to approximately 25,000 people annually – the often forgotten and cast away penny can bring help and value these in need.

“2-1-1 Connections” will provide the process for redeeming the pennies and coordinating the Harvest Teams of children in their selection of what needs they most want to make a difference.  Each child may collect their pennies in any container that is easy to manage, clean, and safe for use during their collections.
