Thursday, Jun 04, 2009 2:13pm

The Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, and the Northwest Louisiana Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster cordially invite you to a meeting on:

Monday, June 15, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.

at

4000 Airline Drive - Goodwill Job Center

National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) is the forum where organizations share knowledge and resources throughout the disaster cycle—preparation, response and
recovery—to help disaster survivors and their communities.

Members of VOAD form a coalition of nonprofit organizations that respond to disasters as part of their overall mission.  Northwest Louisiana VOAD has joined as a member of the state and national VOAD initiatives. Together we foster more effective service through the four C’s—communication, coordination, cooperation and collaboration—by providing convening mechanisms and outreach for all people and organizations involved in disasters.
